Frontman of The Strokes Julian Casablancas has confirmed plans to release a solo record later this year.

Due sometime in Autumn, the LP goes by the title of Phrazes For The Young and was produced by Jason Lader as well as Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes.

Confirmed track names for the album are vague as yet but River Of Brake Lights, Ludlow St. and Glass have all been mentioned.

So thats all but Strokes guitarist Mr Nick Valensi without a side-project band then. We can almost see a giant tour, bringing together each of their side-bands to support The Strokes in the future. However unlikely that is, it'd sure be interesting to witness.

We'll make sure to keep you posted on Casablancas' solo LP as more information surfaces. For now, you can watch the albums trailer just below and visit his official site HERE.
