Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

Paul Banks of Interpol fame decided to make a solo album.

Under the name Julian Plenti (which we found out is the name he used to play under before Interpol) the man has just released his debut solo album Julian Plenti Is...Skyscraper (which we rather liked, check our review out HERE) and has now decided to take his material on the road.

Unfortunately 'on the road' means just two nights in England, set for early December. Playing the Manchester Academy on December 2nd and the London Scala on the 3rd. Tickets for the two shows go on sale as of 9AM this coming Friday (September 4th) so make sure you're present for at least one of them.

You can also check out Banks' rather awesome new video for album track Games For Days HERE.
