Electronic Liverpudlian's Ladytron have spoken out about their recent plans to release a 'Best Of' album in the near future.

Ladytron member Reuben Wu recently sat down Spinner magazine and opened up about a number of things including their recent work with American-pop princess Christina Aguilera, touring the world and a planned Greatest Hits from the band, complete with some interesting artwork that can currently be seen throughout the groups live shows.

 He said:

“We've got some ideas about what we want to do about the next album, but I think first we're going to release a 'Best Of Ladytron'. Since we've done four albums, I think it would be time to put something like that together."

On touring:

"The music became more and more popular, and more and more people wanted us to go and play live abroad. It became more of an actual occupation. It was pretty much over a period of three or four years that we became more absorbed into the life of full-time writing and recording music."

On their artwork:

"We were able to put a lot of visual stuff we amassed over the years, which would be very interesting to our fans, and new fans. Since we've been working with Christina, I think a lot of new audiences out there will want to know about us.”

Let's hope the whole Aguilera time hasn't tainted their feel-good electro-pop. We'll keep you up to date on what Ladytron are up to as it's announced.
