Late Night Music Club - Interpol

28th June 2007 | by Aidan Williamson

Out with the old, and in with the new. Seems to be appropriate for today as the government undergoes a major overhaul of new faces. And more importantly, Chantelle and Preston split up.

So to mark the arrival of this new stage of British life, we bring you a live performance of Interpol's "The New". You see the link we did there.... clever or what.

Of course, the only news story not in tandem with this theme (rather, the complete opposite) seems to be the Spice Girls's announcing their plans to reform, which some commentators described as a "license to print money". You know who else has a license to print money; Alistair Darling, the new Chancellor of the Exchequer. So it all comes full circle it seems.

And to think he made a fool of himself on Never Mind the Buzzcocks! I thought it was true love.
