Singer-songwriter Laura Marling has announced plans for her first tour of North America in the wake of her Mercury Music Prize nomination for debut album "Alas, I Cannot Swim".
The shenanigans will kick off on September 13 in Boston, Massachusetts and continue for a further twelve shows. She will be joined on the endeavour by 25-year old actor, poet and songwriter Johnny Flynn, who will be co-headlining the tour with Marling. The tour is a clever ruse to promote the U.S release of her debut album which should be stacked up on those shelves come August 19, 2008.
