Lavigne Too Sexy For Malaysia

She was a girl, they were an conservative Islamic fundamentalist pressure group, can we make it any more obvious? Pop singer Avril Lavigne looks set to actually have people turn up to one of her concerts after the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party PAS vowed to protest the forthcoming performance in Malaysia.

In recent years, as her album sales have dropped, so have the Canadian singer's necklines, leading Islamic groups in the country being concerned about the amount of sexually-provocative behaviour inherent in the show. We're right there with them, if we wanted to see scantily-clad dwarfs surely we'd go to 'The Happy Hobbit' in Soho.

The show has already been given the go-ahead by the Malaysian government but Nasrudin Hassan of the aforementioned PAS party stated: "A concert of this nature is not conducive to teach the younger generation to become good citizens, upright and competitive, but instead would weaken them morally and mentally.

"If the concert organisers do not heed this warning to cancel the concert, PAS youth will order all Muslim youth to turn up and protest the concert in order to prevent it from taking place."
