The Libertines have added another chapter to their on-again off-again romance by fuelling rumours of a reunion.

Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty Things - the two breakaway groups of Pete Doherty and Carl Barat - are both scheduled to play at Glastonbury's acoustic stage on the Saturday of the festival.

According to the as-per-usual mysterious source from the Daily Mirror; "The lads have been talking about it for months. Although they've both got their own bands now, neither has had anything like the acclaim The Libertines had. Pete and Carl are still arguing about what songs they're going to perform - but whatever they settle on, it'll be incredible."

If the rumours do prove to be true, it will generate huge amounts of interest and could see the longest lines in a rock festival since Kate Moss last visted one.
