Vampire Weekend have started a countdown on one of their websites, like all the best countdowns, no one has any idea what it pertains to.

What we do know is that it ends at 19:30 BST this very day (Oct 05, 2009).

The website in question is www.ithinkuracontra.com. For those late to the game, the website name is also the title of one of the songs expected to appear on their upcoming new album.

It is also mainstream profanity of the audacity not seen since Britney Spears gave directions for contacting Amy, or that "Cunning Stunts" tour was going down.

The band's second album - going by the name of Contra - is expected to arrive on January 11, 2010 in the U.K.
