Manic Street Preachers newest LP Journal For Plague Lovers has only been on shop shelves for forty-eight hours and already the band have announced a completely remixed version of the record, featuring ton's of respectable artists.

The remixed Plague Lovers came about after the Preachers themselves hand picked a bunch of talented bands and designated them each a song. Nicky Wire, bassist of the band explained it in a little more detail:

"It's been a pretty overwhelming response to be honest. We chose people for each track hoping they would bring us back something unique, that they'd find something we maybe hadn't in the track. Without fail, they've done that. Heartfelt thanks from us to everyone involved."

Though there's no solid information regarding to the records release date, apparently it will available to download as of June 15th. The track-listing has been made available and holy bacon Batman! The names they've manged to rope in look mightily impressive.
