Seattle-based quartet Minus The Bear will release their next album on May 4 via Dangerbird Records, the band have confirmed.
Album four from the boys will be called OMNI, it was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket).
Beginning April 21, Minus the Bear will embark on a six-week North American tour premièring these new tracks. Dates will be announced in the near future.
OMNI, the band's first album on the Dangerbird label, will follow-up on their 2007 album Planet of Ice. The finger-tapping alternative rock band first made an impact with their impressive Starship Troopers-quoting début Highly Refined Pirates back in 2002. After all, how can you not like an album with song titles like: "Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo", "Monkey!!! Knife!!! Fight!!!", "Absinthe Party At the Fly Honey Warehouse", "I Lost All My Money At the Cock Fights" and "Let's Play Guitar In a Five Guitar Band".
