Metric Return With New Fantasies

Noise making quarter Metric are back with the announcement of their third album, four years after their 2005 release Live It Out.

The band have decided to go all DIY on the industry and release the album independently which means the group paid for the recording, will pay for the release and so on. A bold move if you ask us but a move that will no doubt pay off. Front woman Emily Haines spoke about the album, saying:

"It was strange having some real choices for the first time in our career while also feeling like whichever deal we chose was going to end up being restrictive and force us to compromise creatively. At one point, we just said 'oh fuck it, lets gamble', took a deep breath and decided to put this record out worldwide our own way."
