The video narrative for "Dashboard," produced by Motion Theory, centres on a maddening expedition to catch a mythical fish, featuring Modest Mouse lead vocalist Isaac Brock at the helm. As the song progresses and Isaac struggles to catch the fish, he is washed up on a strange island made of discarded musical technology and the sound-loving natives who inhabit the island replace his injured hand with a microphone. Now, years later, Isaac is trying to tell the tale to sceptical old fishermen in a seaside tavern.

"We Were Dead Before The Ship Evan Sank" is released in the UK on April 2nd 2007, two weeks after the U.S release.

They have one upcoming gig in the U.K at the Royal Albert Hall. There's a few seated tickets available which you can purchase here.
