Modest Mouse have announced a tour of North America this August and September with dates in both Canada and America.
The band hit the road on August 17th starting in Halifax, Nova Scotia and play a total of fourteen dates before finishing on September 7th in Seattle.
Filling in for Johnny Marr is former Grandaddy guitarist Jim Fairchild who will play alongside the band for the entire tour. Marr is apparently busy with a few other things at the moment (promoting the new Cribs record perhaps?).
New material is expected to be road-tested on the tour so if we were you, we'd grab the chance to see them now. All of the dates and venues can be seen below.
