After spending every hour Rolex send taking to the road, Israeli experimental psych-rock Monotonix finally rested their weary heads, only to record their first album.

Choosing the picturesque Louisiana, America as the location for recording, the fruits of their labour will be unleashed on the world come August 31, 2009 via Drag City Records.

Entitled Where Were You When It Happened? it will hopefully capture the raw intensity of the band's live show, which, if you haven't had the pleasure of catching, the band are unsurprisingly coming our way again soon.
