This story is very much an excuse to trawl through those old live photos of Les Savy Fav from their last trip to these shores.
However there is a little more to it than that as Nme are reporting the words of LSF bassist Syd Butler who told them that a new "heavier" Les Savy Fav album would probably be released in September.
"We're not buying atmospheric gizmos to fill out space on the songs," he said. "They're all three-and-a-half minutes long, they're more compact and concise. This record feels a lot more '90s - closer to our roots."
Obviously details are a bit sparse, although we do know they're working on it at Gigantic Studios in New York with longtime producer Chris Zane.
Nevertheless, there's some heavy expectation on this album. Although if we had a MySpace account, we would be happy to upgrade our status to excited.
