Mystery Jets' third album has been announced and is set for release on July 5. The band have titled the album Serotonin.
The record will contain eleven new songs and was produced by legend Chris Thomas who's previously worked with Pulp, The Beatles and Pink Floyd.
Henry Harrison, father of frontman Blaine and sometime band-mate contributed to the songwriting, although he does not play live with the band any more.
"We've got out hands in the mud," Henry Harrison said of the recording of the album, which took place at London's British Grove Studios. "That's what I feel about this album. You take your hands out and if they're covered in mud, you say, that's alright. That's the kind of feeling we want."
The record will be released through Rough Trade after the band were dropped from sixsevenine last year.
