An interview over at 'The Guardian' website with British music-relic Damon Albarn has surfaced and during the conversation, the Blur frontman talks about the next long-player from his cartoon alt-pop side-project band Gorillaz.
The new L.P is "nearly finished" as Albarn puts it and goes by the title of Plastic Beach. Apparently, it'll be the biggest 'pop record' he's ever made and the guest-spots discussed only serve to back that point with names including Lou Reed, The Horrors, Mos Def, Snoop Doog, Barry Gibb and Bobby Womack.
No release date or other solid confirmations were brought up throughout the new interview but we'll be sure to keep you updated on anything Albarn-based as it's announced.
For now, lets revel in the wonderful Demon Days highlight that was El Mañana shall we? Yes we shall.
