Noel Gallagher could soon become the Johnny Marr of the Northern music scene. Rumours are circulating that he could be planning to join Leicestershire legends Kasabian full-time.
The ex-Oasis guitarist split with his brother and the rest of the Oasis session musicians last month while everyone was at Reading & Leeds festival. While Liam plans to keep steering the money ship, Noel has outlined plans for a solo album.
Speaking to "newspaper" News of the World, Kasabian front-man Tom Meighan claimed "We've got our arena tour in
November. Noel will be calling us up nearer the time for sure saying,
'Lads, I'm going to come perform with you on tour'.
"He's a performing machine, and loves playing live so he jumps at the opportunity whenever he can join us."
Meighan also stated that he and the band would love to record music with Gallagher.
