Well it was on the lips of each and every one of us for the past two months and it seems that now, Liam Gallagher is finally ready to admit the demise of long-time indie collective Oasis.
Brothers Noel and Liam have always had a turbulent relationship, often spilling over into the public-eye and come August of this very year, Noel left, finding his brother's antics too much to bare.
Liam had allegedly stated that though Noel had left, he would continue with the band and find a new guitarist but it seems that now, that won't be happening.
In an interview with The Times newspaper, Liam stated the following:
"Oasis is no longer. I think we all know that. So that’s done, without a doubt. And it’s a shame but that’s life. We had a good run at it.”
What do we all think? Will you by mourning the Brit indie-legends for months to come or are you already over the news (Oasis who?). Let us know below.
I will surely miss them a great deal, they are one of the greatest bands i've found. But I do believe that other bands such as the Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian will take over where they left off. I hope that Noel and Liam do some solo works, that would be good. All over, Oasis will be missed, but they've had a great run. It's been, to Noel's demise, "Amazing!"
