Drum 'n' Bass and Rock hybrid collective Pendulum have talked about how difficult the making of their follow-up to debut "Hold Your Colour" actually was.

"We went into this album with the attitude that it would be easy, determined to avoid the cliché of a second album being difficult, but it was five times harder than we ever imagined it would be," admitted frontman Rob Swire.

He continued, "We underestimated the amount of work that had to go into it to make it turn out the way we wanted it to, but I think we've achieved that.”

The band released "In Silico" on Monday, and judging by preliminary figures, it looks set to top the U.K album chart on Sunday. You can catch them live at the following dates:
