Do you always pour scorn upon anyone indulging in fake plastic rock? Well, you can follow your own advice and actually play guitar on the new Billy Talent album.

The Canadian punk band have thoughtfully concocted a version of the album known as Billy Talent III: Guitar Villain Edition. which expunges all of the guitar lines from the mix, leaving you free to play them yourself.

How will you know what to play? What if you don't have a hairstyle towering enough? The band can help you with one of these queries, they will include 2 full size posters with the whole new album transcribed into guitar tabs for your performance pleasure.

Along with the standard edition, the release date for this is July 14, 2009.
