Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

So Charlie Simpson left Busted for Fightstar (a good move in all honesty), Paul Mullen left Yourcodenameis:Milo for The Automatic (the worst move in current musical history) and now Lostprophets drummer IIan Rubin has left to join none other than Nine Inch Nails (possibly the most random move in some years).

Rubin will be replacing ex-NIN drummer Josh Freese and explained that after he finishes recording the next Prophets album, he'll be gone for good.

Rubin has played with the Prophets since 2005 and claims the band are fully supportive of the move; "They're fans of Nine Inch Nails themselves" he explained, "i'll be able to leave on a positive note and remain friends with everybody".

So who's up for seeing Corey Taylor leave Slipknot and become the sixth and only male member of Girls Aloud? Anyone?

Firstly Paul didn't leave Milo, Milo went onto hiatus, then Paul joined The Automatic a few months later, secondly what the hell does that have to do with Lostprophets or NIN, thirdly what the hell is even wrong with The Automatic, they are far better than Lostprophets, and Fightstar, which why you've shoved them all in the same article I do not understand but may as well use them as examples.
