Putting The Great In Escape: More Bands For Brighton Festival

Ok, we're running out of headlines to describe the influx of hotly tipped bands all set to converge on the seaside resort of Brighton this May.

But alas, there is yet more arm-twisting news if you're thinking of heading down Brighton way this May. Pete & The Pirates, who just last week brought out 'Little Death', their stellar debut LP, are perhaps the highlight of the latest additions.

Also added are several smaller bands, all trying to break into the big-time, something the Great Escape Festival has a habit of doing. Cage The Elephant, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Boxer Rebellion and The Pack A.D. are four further names to a list that rivals just about any other festival right now (SxSW excluded).

They join the likes of the previously announced Yeasayer, The Whip, Black Mountain, Lightspeed Champion and Fijiya and Miyagi, all of whom play the three day event, hosted

We're pleased to inform you that “early-bird” tickets are still on-sale. Priced at £35, you'll be able to get into any of the venues hosting the events, subject to capacity.
