Jack White fronted band The Raconteurs will undertake something of a re-imagining for their next single: a bluegrass version of the song Old Enough.

Old Enough has already been released as a single not more than two weeks ago - one that featured a live version of the song recorded at the Bonnaroo festival as well as an acoustic version of the same song - now the band will team up with Grammy Award-winning bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs and vocalist Ashley Monroe who will be providing mandolin and singing services respectively.

The digital version of the new incarnation of the song will arrive on December 2, 2008, the CD version the week after (Dec 9) and finally the vinyl version the week after that (Dec 16).
