Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

Following on from the hurried release of their latest album, 'Consolers of the Lonely', The Raconteurs are going to play two live shows in the UK next month.

The shows are in London and Liverpool with tickets due to go on sale on Friday 11th April.

The band will also be back in the UK for a couple of festivals this year, at T in the Park in Scotland and also at Ireland's Oxygen festival. The May dates are:

May 14th 2008 @ Hammersmith Apollo, London
May 15th 2008 @ The Carling Academy, Liverpool
