Coney Island. Brooklyn. New York City. Siren Festival 2009. Be There.
This year's Siren Music Festival has just had it's first few artists confirmed and already you can tell it's going to be rather cool.
On July 18th from noon till 9pm Built to Spill, Frightened Rabbit, Grand Duchy, Micachu and the Shapes, Monotonix and The Raveonettes will take to the stage at Coney Island and more names are expected to sift through in the weeks running up the festival.
If 2008's fantastically diverse lineup is anything to go by (They had Islands, Ra Ra Riot, Broken Social Scene, Annuals, Jaguar Love, The Helio Sequence, Times New Viking and The Dodo's to name a few) then we're guessing this year is going to be even bigger.
Oh and don't forget, the Festival is completely free-of-charge and has a freaking roller-coaster on its grounds. Click HERE to check the main website.
