Indie folk / pop duo Slow Club have been forced to cancel their tour scheduled for this May.

Singer / guitarist / drummer Rebecca Taylor has been rather poorly recently and although she is now on the mend, several tour dates have been postponed, with the album recording sessions delayed too.

If you'd snagged yourself some tickets then you'll be pleased to know the dates have indeed been rescheduled for September. However their appearance at the Live At Leeds Festival has been cancelled altogether.

Meanwhile the album, the follow-up to 2009's 'Yeah So', is now set for a summer release.

Here's their amended schedule:

  • 11 Sep 2011 - Nottingham, Bodega
  • 13 Sep 2011 - Birmingham, Library (HMV Institute)
  • 14 Sep 2011 - Newcastle, Cluny
  • 16 Sep 2011 - Sheffield, Leadmill
  • 17 Sep 2011 - Lancaster, Library
  • 18 Sep 2011 - Glasgow, King Tuts
  • 19 Sep 2011 - Edinburgh, Cabaret Voltaire
  • 21 Sep 2011 - York, The Duchess
