New York retro-indie mainstay Julian Casablancas has unveiled the artwork (above) for his upcoming solo début to the world.

Going by the name of Phrazes for the Young [sic] it currently has no fixed release date. He also played his very first solo live concert in Tokyo, Japan last month (Aug 29). He's expected to tour in Europe during October.

We could spend time telling you what's in the picture above, but you've got eyes...

Casablancas also spent the summer recording the upcoming new album for his band The Strokes. The fruits of that labour is expected to be released early next year.
