Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.
It's a growing trend, and one we wholeheartedly support: the advent of the full-album live set where a renowned artist plays an entire L.P from start to glorious finish.
The latest adherent to the cause is Detroit-born indie-folkist Sufjan Stevens. The album in question, 2004's phenomenally well-received release Seven Swans. The venue, ATP New York, this weekend.
Day and Weekend Tickets will be available at ATP New York this weekend for anyone who wants to buy them in person. The prices are $90 for Friday, $110 for Saturday or Sunday and $260 for the Weekend, the organisers stipulate that they must be paid for with cash only.
Further, they instruct would-be attendees, "If you want to reserve tickets to buy on the day, email us at feedback@atpfestival.com with the subject line: ATP NY BUY IN PERSON telling us your name and how many you want and we'll keep some for you to buy when you arrive."
How very thoughtful of them!
