Give us a B, give us an R, give us an I, give us an E, give us an F. This is going to take too long.
Let's just skip ahead and say that the new album from London-based electro duo The Big Pink will be called A Brief History of Love and is scheduled for release in September.
Recorded over five weeks at the Electric Lady studio in New York with Rich Costey (Muse, Interpol) it will be their début effort after forming back in 2007.
Discussing the impetus behind the album's title, multi-instrumentalist Milo Cordell told BBC6 Music:
"...every song is a love song to some degree, about every different aspect of love. The good, the bad, the boring, the exciting, the dreams, the nightmares, the whole thing and I guess that's what encompasses the whole album, and we have a song called 'A Brief History Of Love', so it's apt."
The twosome also impressed recently at Glastonbury where they performed on the John Peel stage on Saturday where they "precision-blast songs that combine pop and white noise to the most intoxicating effect since the Jesus and Mary Chain, as black and white patterns flicker on a giant screen behind them."
