It's the two words all fans dread to hear: "indefinite hiatus". Lacking the certainly of a split and yet roughly equating to the same thing, The Killers have decided to go their separate ways.
The boys' tour in the middle-east and Australia will wrap up with the final show in Melbourne on February 21 and the band have confirmed that this will be their last for the foreseeable future.
Guitarist Dave Keuning told the Associated Press "I'm not sure if people are
aware of it but these are probably our last shows for a while. Unless
some surprise thing comes up... We're having a break.
"We haven't had a break in quite a while. It's just been touring and making records and on and on and on. It's been like six years just kind of connected together.
“We just want a little bit of time off, just to be myself and do what I want to do for a little bit."
We know how hard it can be doing the job you love with the people who are supposed to be your best friends. The band released their third album Day & Age in 2008.
