Scottish electro-rockers Errors are making their second appearance at 2011's South By Southwest Festival.

Signed to Mogwai's Rock Action Records, they're heading to Austin to promote last year's wonderful ʻCome Down With Meʼ which has garnered exceptional reviews just about everywhere.

Here's what they had to say to us:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) How many times have you been to SxSW?

Once in 2007.

2) What's the best thing about being in Austin? Or if you've not been before.... What are your tourism related plans?

Refried beans, French toast carrot cake, there is a cafe in Austin that sells this, it's really great! So, food is what I'm looking forward to basically. I'm trying not to list 'the sun', but that would obviously be quite nice.

3) Why are you playing SxSW? ('Cos we hear the money isn't too good)

For the sun.

4) Who are you showcasing for, and where and when can we expect to see you?

We are playing the Scottish showcase at Maggie Maes and the Sea! Now party both on the 16th. Then we play the Clash magazine showcase on the 17th.

5) Which other bands/artists are you most looking forward to seeing over music week?

I fried my brain just there trying to look through the listings. There is too much basically. Laurel Halo, Baths, Woodsman and Mount Kimbie all look pretty good to me. I heard Big Boi was playing too.

6) Will you visit the Film or Interactive sections of SxSW this year? Or is time tight?

I like films but no I don't imagine we will.

7) What does the rest of 2011 hold for you?

We have a 5 week tour around America supporting Mogwai. This coincides with the US release of our album Come Down With Me. Then we are going to finish writing and recording our next record. If that all goes to plan then we might have another release before the year is out.
