Radiohead's very own Thom Yorke announced his new solo backing band earlier last week which included Red Hot Chili Pepper's Flea, longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, drummer Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco.

They announced collaborative live dates for October 4th and 5th, but what we didn't know was that a secret 'public rehearsal' was also on the cards which took place in the rather tiny Los Angeles Echoplex club last Friday, October 2nd.

The set-list, according to Radiohead fansite At East Web consisted of the entire track-listing of Yorke's solo debut The Eraser. The encore comprised of a solo by Yorke where he performed four brand new songs on his lonesome titled Lotus Flower, Open The Floodgates, Skirting On The Surface and Judge, Jury, Executioner.

All four of the videos can be seen in apologetically shaky but actually rather acceptable Youtube format just below.

Sounds good to us. What do you guys think ? Let us know by commenting at the bottom of the page.
