Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

Not content with performing the beats on Bjork's album 'Volta', Timbaland has let slip that he'll be working on the next Coldplay album too.

Last month Bjork revealed to Pitchfork her first experience with the mega producer:

"The first time I met him, he was like, 'So what do you wanna do? You wanna do something weird? Or something like a hit?' And I'm like, 'How can you say that?' I could never work like that-- sort of decide what it is before you even start.

With that in mind Timbaland noted in the American GQ: "I try to get into their heads, see what they're thinking about. I just try to figure out how they are feeling. And if they are feeling a certain way, I go by that. It's more about everyday life - then it [should] be about music.".

So is Timbaland trying to take over indie music? We'll let the man himself speak: "I'm not just hip-hop. My mission is to take over Top 40 radio - what they call popular music, different genres of music - and reach all types of people."
