Larrikin Love have announced today that they have split up.

The foursome released the following statement: "The band would like to thank all their fans for their support and love over the last two years and assure them that all is amicable between the four members.

Further details of ongoing projects from all members will be announced in the fullness of time."

Larrikin Love released one album - 'The Freedom Spark', which although didn't particularly lead to commercial success, they had developed a good live following.

The band still have three dates that they will fulfil, listed below:

09 May 2007 - Glasgow Arches, Glasgow
10 May 2007 - Custard Factory, Birmingham
12 May 2007 - Anson Rooms, Bristol
