Tyondai Braxton, fuzzy haired frontman of melodic-math-mind-fuck collective Battles is getting ready to drop a new solo record later this year.

The new studio-length goes by the title of Central Market and is due out on September 14th (15th in the US) on the Warp label, the same label Battles are signed to.

Not only is Braxton releasing this record but as we wrote about just two days ago HERE, he's also featuring on Prefuse 73's new project Risil with a host of other artists.

Central Market follows on from Braxton's previous solo effort , 2002's History That Has No Effect and though a track-listing and artwork are yet to come, we'll make sure to keep you posted as and when they surface.
