Despite reports that Spacehog front-man Royston Langdon was set to fill the vacant spot at the front of Velvet Revolver, the band have scuppered the rumours.
The singer has performed with the band before leading Bassist Duff McKagan to comment on the possibility of it becoming a full-time position: "he's fucking awesome, at this point I'd have to say no".
The bass player said, speaking to Billboard "We just have to make sure it's the right guy. Karmically, we deserve the right guy. It's a tough thing, man. We make a pretty big noise."
The band have previously played with Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, although he also seems unlikely to fill the gap left by former Velvet Revolver man Scott Weiland.
