Long serving American rock band Wilco have announced that they have yanked the U.K leg of their tour. The band were due to play shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Newcastle during November.
The reason given for the cancellation of the dates was "scheduling conflicts", which often translates to one of the following; "Our idiot tour manager forgot we were meant to be in Belgium that day.", "Our favourite sports team made it to the final of something", or possibly "We looked on the map and it's really far away."
Wilco have said, however, that they will be scheduling new U.K dates soon, probably early next year. Anyone with tickets should return them to the point of purchase for a refund. The dates in Ireland will not be affected.
