There are some band names that positively encourage journalistic abuse, and far be it from us to turn down such an opportunity.

Take for example, "Cute Is What We Aim For (Effeminate Is What We Achieve)", "You Say Party, We Say Die (They Say Agreed)" or "Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly (on the flight path of a 747) So, in honour of this, we're going to do the entire remainder of the review using only statements incorporating the 'clever' band name.

The Academy Is... potentially a covers band of Panic! At The Disco.
The Academy Is... particularly fond of choruses.

The Academy Is... annoyingly catchy at times.
The Academy Is... especially fond of vocalisations.
The Academy Is... impressed with their own lyrical abilities for creating lines such as "where everything that I do is flipped and awkwardly reversed."
